13 HANDS, aka DALIEN, is an entrepreneurial innovator, Grammy nominated musician, Professor of Yoga at Montclair State University, world chant/kirtan artist, author and sound therapist who has been immersed in many styles of contemporary and world music, yoga, holistic health education, shamanism and personal development work for over 20 years.  A survivor of Crohns / Colitis, he healed himself naturally through a very inspiring journey and today shares this wisdom in the various programs, workshops, think-tanks, concerts and personal development work that address improving health, stress reduction and the management of post traumatic stress disorder symptoms through sound, music, yoga and various lifestyle changes.   He brings a lot of love, passion, community vibes and an amazing sense of humor an insight when he presents.  He had the honor to speak, perform, share and educate at events with The Dali Lama, Jack Kornfield, Anne Lamott, Mark Nepo, Snatam Kaur, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, Dr. Masaru Emoto, Gary Null, Amy Ippoliti, Dharma Mitra, Elena Brower, RUN DMC, Marjorie Fair, Ours, Paula Cole, Laurie Anderson, Warren Zanes, the late Pheobe Snow and beloved Shyamdas, Krishna Das, WAH!, John DeKadt, Dave Stringer, Tuvan Throat Singers from Mongolia and many more wonderful educators, authors, new thought leaders, conscious capitalists and artists.  He presents year round at various corporations, hospitals, social service agencies, underserved populations, addiction/recovery centers, colleges, festivals, ashrams, hundreds of yoga and retreat centers like Kripalu, Omega, ECA, WSSC fitness conferences and other mind/body health and yoga events like Yoga @ the Great Lawn, Global Mala, Sounds True Wake Up Festival & Wanderlust NYC to name a few.
